How to Install COOVIP K-Tip Hair Extensions

  • Section & Clip
    Use a precision clip to secure a small subsection of clean, dry hair at the root.
  • Prepare the Fusion Tool
    Heat your professional fusion iron to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature (usually 160–180 °C / 320–356 °F).
  • Position the Keratin Tip
    Align the pre-bonded Italian keratin tip against the natural hair section near the scalp.
  • Melt & Fuse
    Clamp the fusion iron plates around the keratin tip for 2–3 seconds, melting the keratin bond into your hair strands.
  • Roll & Seal
    Gently roll the softened keratin between your fingers (or a silicone tool) to create a smooth, secure bond.
  • Repeat
    Continue sectioning and bonding until you reach the desired volume and coverage.
  • Ease of Removal
    To remove, apply a keratin-safe remover or oil around each bond, gently roll to soften, and slide the tip off—no damage to natural hair.
